Char Dham yatra to start in April Months Uttarakhand's 

The yearly Char Dham Yatra started six months after the long winter break. The public will be able to reach the four shrines in Uttarakhand—Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri—in April.

On Akshaya Tritiya, the yearly Char Dham Yatra will officially commence (on April 22). On this day, the Gangotri and Yamunotri Dhams' gates will open. On April 25, at 6:20 AM, the Kedarnath Dham will be accessible to the public. On the other hand, the Badrinath Dham will debut on April 27.

One of the most well-known Hindu pilgrimages in India, the Char Dham Yatra, is held at four sacred locations in the Uttarakhand Himalayas. From Yamunotri in Uttarkashi, the holy yatra travels to Gangotri, which is also located in the same district. The

shrine in the Rudraprayag district is the tour's third stop. In the Chamoli district, Badrinath is the final stop. The Char Dham spans a total of 1,607 kilometers.There are various difficulties with the Char Dham this year. The most obvious one is Joshimath's land-sliding problem, which is the entrance to Badrinath Dham. Joshimath recently noticed a number of concerning fissures in and around the town. It is obvious that the area is in a highly fragile situation at the moment due to the region's broken roads, homes, and agricultural fields. The Badrinath Highway, close to Joshimath, has reportedly developed new fissures.

The authorities have chosen to take the Joshimath route for the Char Dham Yatra. The state government of Uttarakhand assures pilgrims that the geological time issue won't interfere with the Char Dham Yatra.
