4 Night Port Blair - 1 Night Havelock
HIGHLIGHTS
Arrival at Port Blair and transfer to respective hotel and then start with a visit to Carbyn’s Cove Beach - 7 km from Port Blair - a coconut palm fringed beach, ideal for swimming, sun-basking & bathing. Later visit Cellular Jail followed by the enthralling Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - where the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.
Island, 54 km from Port Blair is one of the most popular destinations. Departure from Port Blair on a passenger ferry to Havelock Island and on arrival our representative would be waiting at the exit of the jetty. Then proceed to the selected hotel to relax, after Lunch enjoy the famous Radhanagar Beach (Non Ac Car/Jeep will be provided for pickup and drop, time spent 2-3 hours). This beach has been consistently rated as one of the best beaches in Asia. Watch a mesmerizing sunset on this beach before returning back to your hotel to relax and unwind.
In the morning board the ferry and return to Port Blair. Our representative will meet you at Port Blair and drop you at your hotel.
After lunch, start a journey to one of the most preferred destinations at Port Blair, Wandoor Beach. This island is located inside the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park and flaunts of having an almost white sand beach with canopies and dense bushes. A mixture of both shallow and deep glasses of water. Rich in colorful and beautiful fauna, the underwater marine life here is fantastic
After Breakfast visits the Administrative Capital Prior to Independence from where the Britishers governed the entire A & N Islands-ROSS ISLAND, A destination for a Nature Walk amidst friendly Deer & Peacocks. Smritika Museum records the life of its political prisoners.
Later visit North Bay Island (Coral Island) famous for water activities like Scuba Dive, Sea walking, Glass Bottom Boats, etc.
Note: There is no bottled water sold on Ross Island and hence we would recommend you carry bottled water with you cold filtered water is available at the Ross Island ticket counter at no cost. Ross Island is closed on Wednesday. If your tour falls on Wednesday we will interchange it with the previous day's plan.
After breakfast, start for a tour of places in & around Port Blair (City Tour) - covering the famous Cellular Jail*( a witness to the freedom struggle), Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest & largest in Asia), Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries (Marine) Museum and Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika). The evening is for Shopping at the Cottage Industries Emporium (Sagarika) - for shopping & souvenirs.
Note: City Tour is closed on Monday. If your tour falls on Monday we will interchange it with the previous day's plan.
Return home with sweet memories.
Do note that hotels have an early check-out time and guests will need to keep their luggage in the reception before departure if the flight is scheduled in the afternoon. Depart Port Blair with fond memories of these mesmerizing Islands.
