Travel destination in Kerala like Kovalam, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Alleppey, Vagamon, and Wayanad is open to domestic tourists. Beaches will be opened for tourism activities by the first week of July. The decision was announced by minister Mohammed Riyas, the tourism minister of Kerala. The government allowed tourists who were vaccinated. Many hotels and resorts have reopened in tourist places like Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Alleppey, etc.
Alleppey tops the list of best tourist attractions in Kerala. The city was titled the ‘Venice of the East. The backwaters in the area are perfect for a houseboat vacation.
