Come November 9-13, Kerala will be hosting its first-ever international indie music festival in the Kerala Arts and Crafts Village, Kovalam. This five-day festival is a great reason to percent your bags for Kerala. And do it fast!

The International Indie Music Festival is a first of its kind, not the best in Kerala but also in India. This indie music festival may also mark the beginning of the once-a-year track festival in Kerala.

The Kerala Arts and Crafts Village is going to be busy this time around due to the fact a complete of 21 music bands from India and abroad could be participating in this festival. The festival will see seven international bands and singers – Will Johns and Sami Chohfi from the UK, Lyia Meta from Malaysia,

The 14 Indian bands and singers are – Mumbai’s Sherise, RCliff, When Chai Met Toast, Harish Sivaramakrishnan’s Agam, Skreen 6, Sithara Krishnakumar’s Project Malabaricus, Oorali, Job Kurian, Chaos, Lazies J, Chandana Rajesh, Thamarassery Churam, Inner Sanctum, and Devan Ekambaram.

To have music as a manner to boost tourism in the state sounds like a very fun and exciting thing to look forward to. Especially whilst it is a genre like indie. We can’t say that the culture of the indie track, short for independent music, is now in India. That’s because we do have many innovative indie musicians making massive names for themselves in the field. However, it is in its infancy stage in India.

A festival like that is definitely the beginning of something. And we're so excited about attending to see a few really creative musicians via this festival. Will definitely travel for the track.
