The Jaipur City Transport Service Limited (JCTSL) will introduce prepaid travel cards to provide a seamless intra-city travel experience in Jaipur, making city rides cashless. People who use public transportation on a regular basis, such as city buses run by the government, are all too familiar with the bother of having to pay with exact change.

Prepaid travel cards will be available soon to assist you in preventing this issue. JCTSL will release an app in the middle of December that allows you to recharge your travel cards using any UPI app. Only a few pre-paid travel cards will initially be made available at specific Yes Bank branches. For subsequent trips, users will need to reload their card.

How should I use my card?

Instead of buying a ticket with cash once you get on the bus, you can pass the card to the conductor, who will then scan it on the appropriate Point of Sale (POS) machine and hand you the ticket for your intended destination. No exchange of money.

After the initial phase, JCTSL will shortly make these prepaid cards accessible at JCTSL's corporate office and all of its depots located around the city of Jaipur. You can use this service, whether you're a local or a visitor, for more efficient and affordable travel.
